Welcome to Tarot

Tarot is a huge part of my life. I have studied and read the cards for others for over 20 years. I began writing horoscopes as a way to interpret the cards on a broader and more universal level - a form of study if you will. I update the horoscopes every week so link to this blog or add me as a link on your website or signup for an email delivery. Please let me know when you add me as a link to any websites. Cutting Loose From The Past - Weekly Tarot Horoscopes

May 28 - June 3

We are less than a month away from Summer Solstice and the energy begins to noticeably build during this time period finding its final dispersing and redirection during Solstice. Letting go of past hurts, snubs, and losses is important when facing any Solstice or Equinox. It is a theme in this weeks tarot horoscopes.

Letting go allows for more room to grow and harvest the focus and intention you have given your thoughts. If you are working with attracting a particular event then look for some fruition or sign of a coming result during Solstice. The energy during that time is focused on result - it is Solar power.

We will also be moving from Gemini into Cancer, from sword energy into cup energy. If you are studying along with my horoscopes then reviewing the cups and swords of the minor arcana will be helpful. Pull both sets out of the Rider-Waite deck or a Universal deck and make 2 rows in numerical order putting Aces first, then 2’s, then 3’s, etc. Put swords on top and cups on the bottom. Contemplate what you are seeing top to bottom, air into water, swords into cups, masculine into feminine, positive into negative – there is a balancing here.

Now flip the rows and put the cups on top and the swords on the bottom. Make note of what you are seeing and feeling and feel free to ask me questions. There are no “right” answers here just observations.

Also note that Solstice (The Sun card is in full bloom.) is the beginning of harvest season and harvest season builds into autumn. Here in Albuquerque we have started our Farmer’s Markets and are looking forward to our beloved summer. Everyone here knows that when Autumn rolls in so do the cold, cold mornings so we like to soak up the rays as long as we can. We are highly inventive when it comes to our local sun worship.

Here are this weeks horoscopes. And a helpful link to view all of May's horoscopes together. Reading the month in one swoop may help you sort through everything that took place.
