Interpretation Is Everything

I’ve had quite a few questions in the last several weeks about interpreting the weekly horoscopes so I decided to create a link to the page on my website that speaks to this. It’s a loosely written and ongoing monologue that addresses the way I read and some of my personal views on the cards. I add to this page whenever I feel it is necessary. As I do I will try to remember to inform you.

The latest metaphysical tomb The Secret is just way to intriguing to ignore, so I will be addressing it in the weeks to come. I need to get my hands on a copy first – I just hate it when people begin to rant on a book they haven’t even read, how bout you? I can tell you this, the Law of Attraction has been known of for centuries. It is not, however, the only universal law. There are by most counts 6 others. But those are topics for other entries, so stay tuned. And thanks for all your input and questions!

The Magnificent Plastic Brain - Weekly Tarot Horoscopes

February 26 - March 3
No more excuses people! “I can’t” is not part of our vocabulary any longer or hadn’t you heard? The brain is capable of plasticity as addressed in the latest scientific data. It is being proven that we can change our brains just by the way we think. Not just the way we think but actually by what we think about. Change the daily mental images you feed to yourself and replace them with images of what you want and desire in life and watch yourself and your environment change and grow in those new directions. Spend the week paying attention to what it is you say during the course of a day. No, really, listen to yourself. What is it you repeat over and over in conversations with others as well as with yourself? These are habitual thoughts that have become solid and muck about with your hopes and dreams. Now that you know what your bad verbal habits are, when you begin to repeat them, stop yourself and rewrite what you are about to say. Keep the rewriting up and the old thoughts will begin to dissolve. Make your comments in the image of what you really want or at least a bridge to get you to the next place in your big plan. Instead of “I don’t have the money for that” or “I can’t have that,” how about “It’s not in my budget at the moment” or “I don’t know that I really want that.” Being selective and particular are great habits to have as they keep the garbage out of your thoughts.

Remember you are always in charge of your life. But first you need to decide what it is you really want. What might that be?

Puzzled? You aren't the only one!

February 19 - Febraury 25, 2007
Fluidity, the flowing nature of the substance of life – next time you get stopped up with an issue and are unable to let it go (granted some things must be worked through and do take time) consider how it fits into your personal puzzle. We each have themes and attributes that are ours to work through and issues to grapple with. The idea being that when we figure out how to make something work and we have perfected the process of making something “happen” in our lives or in assisting the lives of others that information is available to the whole of life through the subconscious. The subconscious is a gateway to information – often referred to as the Akashic records. Every experience we have had (experience also includes imagery and color, smell, taste, sound, etc.) that registers an impression on our being is recorded by the body and into the records of the subconscious. We have a personal portion of the subconscious we each work with and then we have the universal subconscious (you know the one that fights wars and creates governments). Remember we are evolving every moment and at the same time balancing in the cycles of life. The key to successfully working with the subconscious is to discipline the mind. I will be posting a reading list in the near future. In the mean time here are some links to several great books that can help organize and discipline the mind.

Balancing Act – Are you Part of the Circus? - Weekly Tarot Horoscopes

February 12 - February 18

Could you have your own circus act? If so, what would it be called? "Magnificent, the lion tamer and his bevy of unrealized projects" or maybe "Belle, the tattooed beauty and her trail of tears." All joking aside, if you think you're alone in your life problems, think again. The issue we all deal with, the one that causes us to hit the proverbial brick wall, is two-fold, the issue of flowing with life and the issue of mind over matter. Striking a balance between the two can be the point of conquering your demons. The tarot horoscopes this week address both issues. Allowing the difficulties of life to flow through you by changing the way you think about them can mean less stress. Changing the way you think about your life can mean making changes in the circumstances of your life – small steps eventually lead to bigger ones. Try just one change and stick to it. Remember – you are the constant in any repetitive circumstances of your life.

Seeing Red, Projecting Blue - Weekly Tarot Horoscopes

February 5 - February 11

Anger is a tool – if we choose to see it that way. Anger doesn’t just happen, it surfaces and resurfaces until finally we stop to take notice of it. It has much to tell us about how we think and what we focus our attention on. If you have feelings and issues to deal with, as we all do, they may be getting in the way of achieving the life you so want. If you ignore the issues, the circumstances of your life will tend toward stagnation and not the thriving, blossoming world of living. Facing a fear, just one, can change your life forever. What triggers your anger and why? And what are you going to do to make the shift out of anger? It is no mistake that when war is part of our daily intake, the color red becomes incredibly popular in fashion, interiors, automobiles and all things commerce. This next week can be trying at moments, some of us will be prone to shouting matches and skirmishes. Others will be faced with realities that must be addressed for what they are and not what they aren’t. Infusing pale shades of blue or rosy baby pinks into an environment can be calming. Remember, if you know your rising sign and your moon sign, read those too.
