Welcome to Tarot

Tarot is a huge part of my life. I have studied and read the cards for others for over 20 years. I began writing horoscopes as a way to interpret the cards on a broader and more universal level - a form of study if you will. I update the horoscopes every week so link to this blog or add me as a link on your website or signup for an email delivery. Please let me know when you add me as a link to any websites. Attract a Jar of Peanut Butter - Weekly Tarot Horoscopes

May 7 - May 13

Contemplating the meaning of this week’s overwhelming abundance of reversed tarot cards led to a bout with a stubborn server and an adventure with peanut butter that wasn’t as enjoyable as it may sound. After a struggle with removing the sticky substance from my body and the keyboard and the lightening fast response from my website hosting company, I came to this conclusion. Reversed cards rarely mean what we initially believe them to and this was proven to me as I began re-reading what I had written the week before and then began turning cards for next week’s horoscopes – next week is full of Major Arcana.

If you believe that you may have built a few faulty mental castles over the years then you would probably be correct. And if you believe that poorly built structures should be torn down you would be correct again – from an architectural, engineering, and metaphysical perspective they are dangerous. And if you believe you are ready to face the internal destruction and construction of the week ahead then more power to you, I back you 100%!

Here is some encouragement for those wafting in indecisiveness. In order to build muscle you lift weights. And lifting weights does what? It tears the muscle, which is a form of destruction, right? But what do you get with that destruction? You build a better muscle. Destruction is a part of construction and the cyclical nature of our world. This applies to everything on this planet - everything!

In my experience, the interpretation of reversed tarot cards is typically dependent on the placement of the other cards in the reading. The single meaning of a card is just a part of the context of a whole reading. It gets blended into the context. If you are learning to read tarot cards – allow yourself the luxury of considering a reading from many, many directions before you focus on what may appear to be a “terrible” situation. More than likely it is an opportunity in disguise.

So keep the following in mind this week and allow the world to flow right through you – It is all for the better.

Here are this weeks horoscopes. In the words of Mr. Spock and the Vulcan flock, live well and prosper.
